BMW unveils the i8 Roadster along with motor and battery upgrades for the i8 Coupe
The long awaited i8 Roadster features a soft top that packages away in 15 seconds and up to speeds of approx. 31mph. A slight gain of weight reduces the updated system’s electric only range from 34 miles for the Coupe to 33. Motor improvements allow for a higher electric-only top speed.
